I’m your usual Muslim American writer and mother. Well…I’m not really your usual….I’m raising my kids in a country I’ve learned to call home. I’m trying to deal with all the pressures of motherhood and raising good, pious, compassionate, God conscious children in a country whose red-tape seems to make the sun stop shining. But I praise God for more blessings than I can count…and I keep praying that He gives me patience and strength of conviction to remain on the Straight Path.
I’ve been an editor since 2014, and am currently a writing coach and the Editorial Director of Muslimah Writers, an online organization which helps women (of all faiths and backgrounds) achieve their writing and publishing goals.
All three of my novels, Normal Calm, Behind Picket Fences, and Even in the Breaks, are available where ever books are sold. Check out My Novel page for more information.
